LOOKING BACK: BERLIN BERLIN Vol.I

Inspired by the free-spirited hedonism of Berlin nightlife, FUZE took us underground in December 2022 for an unforgettable night. It was a homage to all the wonderful things that underground culture has to offer – inclusivity, queerness and, of course, lots and lots of fun.

FUZE always provides a safe space to express your creativity, and so, as per usual, the outfits did not disappoint. Berlin underground culture is all about excess so think techno party style and then think even more striking, creative and daring. All-black was the dress code with leather, harnesses and mesh adorning the floors of the Lakota. There were also some incredible makeup looks to match with lots of bold and sultry eyes in the crowd. Nine best-dressed tickets were given out for the outfits that took the theme to another level.

It goes without saying that one of the definite highlights of the night were the wonderful performers and pole dancers that graced the stage, including the incredible. With their energy and talent, they captivated and inspired the crowd with their dancing and kept everyone moving until the early hours of the morning.

Of course, it would not be a Berlin-inspired night without techno. FUZE had some of the best of local talent came along to DJ with Greenz, Ash Er, The Yard Woman, That Guy and Ghetto House Trio providing impressive setlists to keep everyone dancing until the early hours. The non-stop energy of the crowd definitely vouched for the talent of the DJs!

All in all, it was an incredible night which certainly captured the excitement and inclusivity of the underground. If you’re wishing you could be back at Berlin Berlin or are sad to have missed it, rest assured that FUZE has even more exciting things planned for the rest of the year.
