Vote for FUZE: Support our vision
BY SOLAMIPE ONIFADE
FUZE is a collective of creatives of over 200+ people based here in Bristol, who annually put on the UK’s largest student-run music, fashion and dance show in aid of charity.
We strive to provide opportunities to young creatives in Bristol and beyond through live performances, editorials and workshops.
There’s more. At FUZE, we are committed to being at the forefront of inspiring and contributing to positive change. This year, FUZE will be supporting two charities; Black South West Network and Art Refuge.
Here’s what’s exciting! FUZE has been shortlisted as finalists for the prestigious Bright Network’s Society of the Year Awards and we need your help to win the Diversity and Inclusion Award category.
The Award is dedicated to celebrate a society that has promoted inclusion and supported members to discover future career opportunities.
FUZE is that society. We perfectly embody diversity and inclusion as we proudly support the voices of all students at Bristol University, and aim to represent their experiences, regardless of their background.
Championing diversity is central to everything we do; which fosters the most inspiring, inclusive culture for everyone to grow and flourish.
I joined FUZE back in June during lockdown from Nigeria and I was immediately surrounded by the most genuine and talented group of people! It’s been 7 months since and it’s so incredible to see how the FUZE Family has grown and expanded reach to even more diverse groups of students and creatives. It’s amazing, truly.

We are determined to go beyond ‘performative diversity’ and want everyone who follows our journey to be able to feel represented within FUZE.
We have actively searched for a range of designers and performers who represent every aspect of our community; from black-owned female businesses, to plus sized models and members of the disabled community.
As an artistic response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have launched several initiatives such as the FUZE @ Home series - where the members of cast perform songs on our Instagram live and get involved in the FUZE lockdown reels challenge. We’ve got even more exciting events planned, so stay tuned!
