JOIN THE BRAND TEAM

BRAND DIRECTOR

This is one of three top management roles within FUZE, alongside the Commercial and Creative Director, you will be responsible for ensuring FUZE continues to grow and upholds its brand identity and values.

In the role of Brand Director you will be responsible for overseeing all brand, partnerships, marketing and PR elements of FUZE. You will need to have a strong understanding of the FUZE brand, from the visuals aspects of the brand right down to the values.

Expectations of the role:

  • Organise and run weekly meetings with the visuals team and the Head of Marketing and Social Media.

  • Oversee all marketing campaigns throughout the year, working closely with the Marketing Director and Social Media Manager to plan and deliver content. 

  • Manage the media team throughout the year ensuring each event, promotional shoot and activation has coverage.

  • Manage the visuals team to ensure each campaign has sufficient content to support it.

Skills needed: 

  • Experience with managing teams, a good understanding of all brand departments including visual.

  • Experience with the Adobe Suite to be able to assist and coach the visuals and media team.

Social Media Manager 

Responsible for coordinating the FUZE Instagram, Facebook, Twitter with the goal of expanding the social media following and developing the brand alongside the Head of Marketing and Brand Director.

Main duties include:

  • Organising a weekly meeting with the Socials Team and delegating content to post. 

  • Strategizing growth of FUZE’s social media platforms. 

  • Documenting organic content at FUZE events, socials and activations.

  • Help plan and deliver marketing stunts alongside the Brand Director and Head of Marketing.

PR Manager 

Responsible for managing all press and public relations. 

Main duties include:

  • Reaching out to regional and national press to establish and maintain relationships, and securing press features for all events and campaigns.

  • Writing press releases and managing emails.

  • Strategizing growth opportunities for FUZE’s that utilise PR.

Instagram Stories Coordinator 

Responsible for ensuring the Instagram is updated with daily stories.

Role expectations: 

  • Working alongside the Social Media Manager to coordinate the Instagram story team and weekly plan.

  • Attending all FUZE events and activations to document them on Instagram.

  • Ensuring the Instagram stories maintain the FUZE brand guidelines and engage the following.

Social media assistants (2)

Responsible for assisting the social media manager in posting engaging content.

Role expectations: 

  • You will be expected to propose content ideas at the weekly Social Media team meetings and help plan the weekly content. 

  • Needs to have a good understanding of social media, experience with social media is preferred but not required.

  • Applicants will need to be reliable and to be able to post content on time. 

Content Creator (2)

Responsible for gathering organic content to create and post videos from.  

Role expectations: 

  • You will be expected to propose content ideas at the weekly Social Media team meetings and help plan the weekly content. 

  • You will be expected to attend all FUZE events and activations to create videos to post on Instagram and Tiktok. 

  • You must be up to date with trends to be able to turn content around fast. 

  • Must be able to create content inline with the FUZE brand guidelines.

VISUALS TEAM

Graphic Designers for Events (3)

Responsible for creating marketing campaign assets for FUZE events.

Role expectations: 

  • To work with the Brand Director to design and deliver the visual identity of each event. 

  • Must have experience using Photoshop, Adobe suite or Procreate preferred if you also have After Effects experience. 

  • Must be able to work to strict deadlines and within the FUZE brand guidelines.

  • Must be comfortable with working within the FUZE brand guidelines and utilising templates provided by the Brand Director

Video editors (3)

Responsible for editing reels and longer video content for FUZE’s social media channels. 

Role expectations: 

  • Must have experience using Premiere Pro, preferred if you also have camera/videography experience.

  • Must be able to work to deadlines and within the FUZE brand guidelines. We are looking for clean quick edits. 

  • We are looking for film students looking to expand their portfolio and gain experience.

Zine Manager

Responsible for overseeing and running the online zine as well as producing the printed zine to be sold at the final show. 

Role expectations: 

  • Includes selecting and managing a writing team, commissioning pieces, approving and conceptualising content, ensuring consistent posting of content to the online zine, and curating written content for the printed zine.

  • Working with the Brand Director and Visuals team to deliver a clear plan of content in advance so that they can support by creating graphic material.

  • Working with the Social Media Team to deliver the published links ahead of time to promote each article across our social platforms.

Writing Executive

Responsible for written content and managing the writers’ team

Role expectations: 

  • Will include reading pitches and proofreading and editing articles before publishing.

Digital Executive

Role expectations: 

  • Uploading the finalised articles to the website and designing the layout of the online zine and of individual articles.

  • Working alongside the Website editor to prompt the Zine across the website.

  • Liaising with Brand Director/graphic designers to upload supporting graphic material.

  • Someone with experience using Squarespace or similar softwares (website building) preferred.

EVENTS & MARKETING TEAM

Head of Events & Marketing

Responsible for planning and leading all events and production aspects. Must be competent in admin tasks including excel, emails, rotas, ticketing and scheduling. 

Main duties include:

  • Source event venues and maintain existing partnerships with venues.

  • Brainstorm ideas for new events that align with FUZE’s values.

  • Work closely with Brand and Commercial departments to lead all event projects including the final show.

  • Support the logistical and operational production of all events including the final show.

  • Communicate with venues/tech companies.

  • Creating timelines and strategies, managing all digital and physical marketing and need to ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Help plan and deliver marketing stunts alongside the Brand Director and Social Media Manager. 

  • Must be comfortable in managing large teams and have good email and organisational skills.

Events & mARKETING Coordinator

Responsible for assisting and coordinating all events with the Head of Events.

Role expectations: 

  • Lead the department if the Head of Events is absent.

  • Must be competent in admin tasks including excel, emails, rotas and scheduling. 

  • Source creative elements for all events (e.g. DJs, Choreographers, Performers, etc)

  • Ensure the smooth running of all event operations (e.g. Ticket Scanning, Artist Liaison, Guestlists, etc).

  • Work closely with the creative team and oversee all cast social events.

  • Assist with creating mailers and any other marketing collateral.
