
JOIN THE COMMERCIAL TEAM
COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR
This is one of three top management roles within FUZE, alongside the Brand and Creative Directors, you will be responsible for ensuring FUZE continues to grow and upholds its brand identity and values.
Day to day you will be responsible for all commercial aspects of FUZE; sponsorship, finance, charity and marketplace. Alongside leading all CIC obligations you will also be the lead contact for the board of trustees, submitting reports and ensuring the legal aspects of the brand are secure.
Expectations of the role:
Ensuring all of the commercial departments of FUZE are running cohesively.
Responsible for setting and ensuring all commercial deadlines are met.
Understanding ongoing challenges in every department to ensure they meet overall goals to develop the FUZE brand by motivating and engaging the commercial team.
Maintaining and building relationships with sponsors and charities is fundamental to the success of the department.
Ensuring the financial success of FUZE, using all commercial departments to ensure FUZE events and projects are financially viable and profitable.
To establish paid sponsorships to support the running of FUZE events.
Skills needed:
This role requires someone with experience in most and knowledge across all of the departments which they shall manage. Confidence in finance and accounting is essential for this position.
Head of Sponsorship
Responsible for financing FUZE throughout 2022/2023 via commercial partnerships and grant applications.
Main duties include:
Organising meetings with companies to discuss ways in which they can support FUZE financially and think of incentives we can offer them in return for their support.
Creating sponsorship decks and pitches to present to companies.
Oversee all grant applications, ensuring that all financial information is correct and that the application accurately represents FUZE and its values
Sponsorship Executive (2)
Responsible for assisting the Head of Sponsorship in any and all tasks that are needed. This will range from sending out emails, securing commercial partnerships with brands, assisting with grant applications, and being on hand to help out at events that will take place throughout the year.
PRODUCTS MANAGER
You will be tasked with securing promotional material for our events, e.g. prizes for raffle/competition winners, goodie bags for our VIP guests, products for socials held throughout the year.
Finance Manager
Responsible for FUZE’s finances and budgets. At the beginning of the year, the finance manager must create budgets and financial contingency plans.
Marketplace manager
Responsible for the marketplace event before the annual fashion show and any other marketplace events that occur during the year as fundraising opportunities.
Main duties include:
Responsible for approaching vendors, deciding payments and contracting vendors.
Responsible for setting up the marketplace and greeting vendors. During the event, ensure the marketplace is running smoothly and after the event, help vendors pack away and clear the venue.
Liaising with the social team to get graphics and stories promoting the event for both FUZE and all vendors.
Head of Charity
Responsible for maintaining existing charity relationships and developing new relationships with charities that reflect the values and mission of FUZE.
Main duties include:
Working throughout every department to make sure the needs and values of the charities are met.
Developing new ways of supporting the charities such as small charity fundraisers or across social media.
Working closely with marketing to promote the work that charities do and communicate the charity message through all events, activations and the final show.
