OUR FINAL SHOW
For almost 20 years, FUZE UK has been scouting talent around the city of Bristol and creating professional performance opportunities for creatives to grow.
For another year, we are returning with our signature show which sees over 1000 people. This June we are proudly presenting REIGN, a momentous showcase of self-expression, empowerment and opulence. This year’s anticipated return focuses on an immersive alternate fantasy-like dream world.
Join us on the 10th June and witness a show where fashion, music and dance becomes one. A show where the idea of power is reclaimed by the models, dancers and musicians. Be the witness of an incredible journey that blends Fashion, Music and Dance.
All profits are in aid of our three amazing charities which support racial equality, LGBTQ+ communities and mental health. More information about the charities we support is available here.
If you have any accessibility requirements do not hesitate to contact us to discuss how we can accommodate you.
DIRECTORS NOTE
This year’s show focuses on my personal journey of confidence and self-expression. Having been a model in last year’s show ‘GENESIS’, I left the FUZE annum never having felt more comfortable within myself and confident with my identity. As a queer person establishing a space where the audience feels powerful, especially in the often terrifying world in which we now live has never been more important. As Creative Director for FUZE, this became a perfect opportunity to establish my mission in self-worth and self-expression and so this was the starting point of REIGN.
This year’s show is built like no other. With an ever-increasing cast, production value and the show becoming more and more complex, it became very clear when planning the show that we had an opportunity to pull out all the stops. A key part of my plan in producing the show this year was to create an immersive space and performance. Drawing from the idea of taking an audience on a relatable and immersive journey the aim was to create less separation between the viewer and the performer; breaking the fourth wall. The main aim of the show is to transform audience members from passive recipients to active participants.
From a visual perspective, we have changed the physical space from outdoors to indoors for the first time using SWX’s incredible and adaptable venue space to aid in our immersive experience and take the reality from the outdoor world away. We hope that through REIGN you are embedded within an environment of excitement, fantasy and opulence. Leaving our show with the confidence and self-worth that we as FUZE have established across our incredible cast and team.
“I cannot express how grateful I am for every single one of you. To feel so empowered, sexy, confident and free to embrace myself has been such an honour. Each and everyone of you have hearts made of pure gold and I really cannot thank everyone enough.”
